GENERAL OVERARCHING RULES

1. Be respectful of others and their ideas. This includes tolerance in various facets as well as not using others' creative property without permission. If you feel you are being mistreated in any way please contact Midnight .

2. No Power-playing, God-moding, or Metagaming. If you're unsure of what these are don't hesitate to ask! We are a friendly community and more than happy to help new members and guests alike.

3. If you will be away for a while, please post in our Absences & Holidays board so we're not left wondering if you'll ever come back.
    a. Inactive threads are archived after 3 months unless a message is left in the Absences board.

4. You are allowed to have multiple characters per account, or have an account for each of your characters; whichever you prefer and however many you like as long as you can handle it.

5. This forum is a friendly, community oriented, fictional RP site dedicated first and foremost to having fun. While we'd love to have everyone posting all the time we realize that is unrealistic. If you can make the effort to post once a week that is just fine. Don't be afraid to pop into our guest friendly chat!

CHARACTER RULES

1. Post your character sheets in the Your Characters & Stories board. A template is provided and please post all of your characters in a single thread. See the existing threads for examples.

2. You are free to make any original, mythological, or supernatural creature you want, whether it be humanoid or not, and there is no discrimination of race or orientation. We just ask that you do not steal others' characters or make fandom chars.

3. Pictures are not required for characters, but if you have one it can be of any type (Anime, Realistic, Game, Hand Drawn, Painted, etc.). We only ask that you credit artists if it is not your original work.

ROLE PLAY RULES

1. When joining a thread please follow the maker's labels. Some examples:

[IO] or [Invite Only] ... are Private RPs

[Open] ... means Anyone is Welcome
[Member Name(s)] ( ex: [Midnight] ) ... is Restricted to Specific Members

2. You may create your own places and have them added to our map by filling out the form provided in our Claiming board.

3. Characters do not need to be approved before they are played. They do not need to have super detailed histories to start off with either. We expect that profiles will be filled in and updated as the character develops and interacts with the world. Keep in mind that a character profile is as much for others to learn about your characters as it is for you to keep a record of their

4. Throughout the character's life anything can happen and both good and bad things should be allowed to happen to them. However, it is your choice. If you do not want, for example, your character to die but there's no RP way to escape remember you could have them revived afterward by someone else's character. Or you can simply say "This death only applies to this thread." Just make it an interesting read! We're all here for the stories.

What about tables? What are the dimensions allowed?

Hmm I never thought of that because no one really used them before except for Fang...I don't mind tables,but usually people use a different layout color theme then I do...so usually what colors people use for a table might not show up good for the user that is seeing the table. Though as long as the font is easy to read and not a dark on dark or light on light color that doesn't hurt my eyes...I suppose it would be ok as far as how big I don't know because I don't use them. So I have no idea how big or small it should be...lol sorry for the crappy answer hehe. I don't really have a good one for it .
