A place where you can let your creativity go unbound!
We are a very friendly, original medieval/modern fantasy mixed site.
Based in another world where fantasy / supernatural creatures thrive. Ask Midnight any questions.
The year is 2022 people are wary after Kenis was almost killed at a party leaving him badly wounded. Some question if the Moon Kingdom still has what it takes to rule as some seem to have cued in on that notion to take advantage of it.
While that is going on something has been going on with the vampires lately and have seemed to have gone mad with bloodlust more often.
Growing number of ships in the Moon Kingdom's fleet is growing. War coming?

Jasper walked back in with his basket, still humming. “Thinking about the country... imagine how jittery Salem would get in the middle of nowhere.” He set the basket down and started to wash the vegetables. “Still would be nice though. Calm, quiet.”
“Think anyone would stop us? Would they try and take you back?”
Lucio felt fire start to crackle in his throat as his nerves wound tighter with every second. If he strained his ears he could just pick up the sound of something dripping and yet it was hard to tell if it was real or just paranoia. Taking a slow breath, he tried to center his mind again. On one hand, there was no way a human was around that he couldn't sense and Lucio had never meant a hunter that wasn't human. That left either a rare case, one of the hunters twisted up experiments or something else entirely. The last choice also held the possibility of being safe or far worse than a hunter.
Still, Lucio was feeling optimistic and he hadn't been attacked quietly yet. Taking a chance he broke the silence. "Hello?"
"Sounds good. And I know I'm certainly glad to have the garden. Maybe we should go off and be farmers in the country." Jasper laughed before leaning over to Miko and kissing his cheek. "I'll be back soon. Try not to miss me too much." He smiled and then turned to head out into the garden, starting to hum halfway through his walk.
When he got to the garden he was pleased to see basically everything was there, even if lettuce had been the only major thing. He picked up a small basket and walked through the plants carefully, looking for what was ripe and plucking away a few dead leaves as he went. After a few moments, he'd gathered up a head of lettuce, some tomatoes, carrots, and green peppers, keeping it all neatly balanced in his basket.
“Sounds great. And how about a vegetable? Maybe a nice salad.” Jasper smiled and moved away to start rummaging in the kitchen. “Do we have everything or will we need to shop? I know we have potatoes at least.” He moves with purpose, glad to have a distraction from his sister. Even if she wouldn’t talk he was determined to corner her later in the night or early morning. If she had a bad nightmare she’d be more vulnerable to questions as well, even if taking advantage of her like that left a bad taste in his mouth.
Jasper laughed and gave Miko a quick kiss. "You're right. Guess I'm just not used to her changing." His smile became more genuine and he took Miko's hand before heading to the kitchen. "Now time to cook! We can bother with that when we're done, you're right again. Looks like you're on a roll today."
Jasper nodded. “She didn’t used to, not from me,” he said softly before falling quiet. He didn’t say anything else for the next few moments as he got out and dried off. When he finished he started to pull on his clothes, still looking pensive.
“I’m not a bad brother right? I mean... I don’t know what else I could do. It’s just... it’s a lot sometimes, being tied to someone and literally being unable to go to far. I mean I’d be fine but Salem... people don’t like being around bad luck.” He finished getting dressed and put on a smile. “Ah, I got a little heavy all of a sudden huh?”
“Probably” Jasper laughed. He ran his fingers through Miko’s hair once more before starting to rinse himself off.
“I hadn’t thought about her to be honest. That would be... well honestly I don’t know. She did help us I suppose but I’m not sure that means we can trust her. I guess it would still be better than other options but if it was her that raises the question of why she would hurt Salem. Training? Salem just picking fights? Too many options.” He shook his head, sending a few water droplets flying.
“But she’d be done sulking” Jasper said before rinsing our Miko’s hair. “ I’m sure she’d have some words for me too.”
He gave Miko a kiss before sighing. “ And best case, it’s just random low life’s or maybe an old friend is here. Worst case, an old enemy or someone with sway here.” He shook his head. “Just about every person we knew likes to travel a lot. It’s not impossible someone we used to know is here.” He carded his finger’s through Miko’s hair a few more times.
“Salem’s default is hostile. Hell, I don’t know if she’s ever actually been nice, but I know she doesn’t hate you.” Jasper started washing Miko’s hair. “She’s not mad either. In fact I almost concerned with how mellow she’s gotten recently. Especially with her disappearance then returning hurt.” He sighed and shook his head.
“Maybe she’ll be more talkative after sleeping. If not, well, then at least we can eat a nice dinner. You can tease her with mentions of our wedding plans or something’s .”
“Yeah, but one day she’s going to get in more trouble than she can handle. “ Jasper turned the shower on and laughed. “And you just think it’s fun because you haven’t dealt with her your entire life. You should have seen her in her early teens.” He put a hand under the water to test it before getting in and starting to wash. “She gets bored way to easy. That aside though, want me to wash your hair?”
Salem threw back a middle finger before closing the door to her room.
Jasper frowned at his sister before looking back to Miko. “Yeah. And we can herd her into dinner too. She probably got into a fight again in town.” He smiled and kissed Miko on the cheek. “ And it’s fun helping you cook.” With that he turned and headed to the bathroom, making sure to gather his clothes on the way.
Jasper hurried and moved to be mostly behind the couch to help preserve his dignity. “Welcome back, we’re going to shower... uh, then we can make dinner? Catch up?”
“Not hungry. But thanks for pretending to be modest unlike that one.” She looked at Miko before turning and closing the door behind her. “I’ll be in my room sleeping.” She rubbed her side and winced slightly before walking off to her room.
"True, and I'd try topping if you wanted. Otherwise I'm pretty content letting you lead" Jasper smiled, blushing. He gave Miko one last kiss before standing up. "Then we can try and clean this up before," he dropped off, ear twitching as he heard something outside. He quickly shifted as the door opened to show Salem. "Nevermind"
Salem took one step inside before frowning and rolling her eyes. "Classy guys."
Lucio crept through the woods, careful to keep quiet. It had been a while since he was anywhere close to where hunters resided, but that didn't mean he was careless. It was hard to forget the stories told about the horrors of their camps and experiments. He'd even seen a few broken souls that had made it out, free but now drained of any hope. Even for him, it was hard to stomach. Then again maybe it was because those he found were closer to him than the random weakling he liked to play around with. Some were even stronger than him and had been captured. Only caution and luck kept him free.
He supposed the fact he was too young to really be intimidating also helped. Even if he was a fire elemental, he was nothing like the ancient ones of his kind. At 400 he did well to pass as an unusually strong fire spirit, and only experts picked him out as what he really was. While it was an embarrassing fact most days, it was a blessing around hunter territory.
His next step cracked a twig and he froze up. Lucio swore mentally and looked around, crouching low to the ground as fire started to spark up at his fingers. The scent of singed leaves touched the air but other than that he didn't hear anything, nothing human at least. There was something raising flags at the edge of his senses, however, something strong.
Jasper huffed a short laugh before cuddling closer. "Then we should clean the wounds before we fall asleep." He tilted his head back and started to purr. "Besides, as nice as this is, I really don't want to be caught like this. I'm sure Salem's already going to make a fuss about the smell." he laughed.
Jasper gave a short whine, turning red at just the thought. He couldn’t help but dig his nails into Miko’s back this time as he cried out while finishing. “Exhibitionist” he teased, panting.
"Sh-shut up" Jasper groaned, though there was no fire in his words. He did his best not to claw at Miko's back as he felt his pleasure peak. "This would be a-an awful time for an interruption, you'll jinx us."
Jasper whined softly before biting Miko’s neck a bit harder, trying to stop a loud moan. “It’s only f-fair I attack back a little.” He gave a breathless laugh before moaning out again.
“It’s...h-hard not to be” Jasper gasped out between kisses. He clutched at Miko’s back as the feelings got more intense. Soon he buried his face in Miko’s neck, biting gently to muffle his own sounds.
